It’s April first today, which means that the first quarter of 2014 is behind is. Lent is half-way over (day 28 of 46 by my count). And it’s Mrs. Alexander’s 32nd birthday.
So, before I do anything else, I want to wish the wife the happiest of days. This will be the thirteenth time we’ve spent her birthday together (again, seriously) and hopefully the first of dozens more. Everything I’ve accomplished over the past decade is owed to her love, support, and encouragement.
I was going to write more – most of it about me – but now that seems kind of pointless. So I’ll save it for later.
Happy Birthday, Mrs. Alexander. I love you more than I can put into words. Thank you for everything.
